This made in Japan model was released at NAMM 1997 as a reproduction of the 1965 and was designed from the actual bass he used during his time with Jimi Hendrix Experience. It's in overall great condition with very light play wear aside from some incidental dings as shown. It features an alder body with a 34" scale maple neck and 7.25" radius rosewood fingerboard outfitted with vintage-style frets for smooth playability. It has a pair of vintage-style single-coil pickups that give it punchy, articulate tones with warm low end and crisp highs. The classic control layout includes volume for each pickup and a master tone knob for versatile tonal shaping. The bridge and tuners are vintage-style for stable tuning and sustain. It is set up with flat wound strings with a medium-low action. Weighs in at 9lbs. Comes with the original Fender G&G hardshell case. Enjoy!
