For your supreme viewing delight is this gorgeous Taylor AB-2 fretless acoustic electric bass in a dark natural wood finish. It's in fabulous condition with very little play wear, and has serial #980211201 which dates it to 1998. These are some of the best sounding and playing acoustic bass guitars we've encountered. This full 34" scale USA made beauty features a solid Imbuia body and an ebony fingerboard. The "Manzer wedge" also gives this guitar a signature tone and projection: the bass side of the body is narrower than the treble side. It has the original Fishman ABGP-2 preamp and pickup installed which functions flawlessly. As is common with these, the center seam of the top began to separate and it was professionally re-sealed/repaired, as shown in pics. The bass weighs in at 7lb 12oz, and is set up with a comfortable low fretless action. It plays with great ease and has a truly magical tone. It is certainly among the most fun I've had playing a bass and is hard to put down. This fine and unique instrument has been humidified, has aged beautifully, and would make a great addition to any collection or studio. Comes with the original rigid gig bag.
