For your kind consideration is this unique, vintage 20" Zildjian A crash ride cymbal from the 1960s-1970s. It's in fantastic condition and sounds wonderful.

This is the first time we've come across this particular anomaly - what makes this cymbal unique is that it has a classic 1960s Zildjian A stamp with all the characteristics of an early 1960s A including the bell size and shape, the profile, light weight (very uncharacteristic of a late '70s 20" A to weigh a very light 1802g), and lathing - yet has the hollow Zildjian logo ink stamp used from 1978-82 on the underside. All things indicate that this cymbal was certainly made in the 1960s, and then sat in the factory until the late '70s, at which point it was given the hollow logo ink stamp and shipped out to a dealer to be sold as new.

This cymbal may have been sold as a crash during the late '70s as it has a beautiful full, bright crash sound that would cut easily through heavy guitars. It also works great as a light ride / crash-ride with clear stick definition, just the right amount of "ping", and a clear musical bell.

No cracks, bends, flea bites, or keyhole. Weighs in at 1802 grams. Enjoy!
