It features a body carved out of a single large piece of solid mahogany, unique among Les Paul models. The resulting dark mid-range tone from the body pairs perfectly with its bright-sounding solid Ebony fingerboard. All together, it's the pinnacle of guitar craftsmanship, design and tone. Gibson Custom Shop proudly revived every last detail of the original "Black Beauty" for this '57 Les Paul Custom Reissue, from the dimensions and contours to the precise inlay patterns to the entire ownership experience. This one is has been well cared for and has some great looking natural aging that has started on the gold hardware that adds to the aesthetic, and just the tiniest marks here and there from a small amount of honest playing. It has close to no fret wear, and plays easily with low action. No chips, or gouges. All original case candy is included in the original hardshell case along with the COA.
