For your pure viewing and listening delight is this very special vintage 22" K Zildjian Istanbul New Stamp ride cymbal from the 1960s. It is in stunning collector's clean condition and is an exemplary representation of the craftsmanship of the Istanbul-made K cymbals with gorgeous old world lathing and hand hammering. Every once in a while, we'll have the good fortune of finding an old K where the the bell has two distinctively different notes, adding to the overall complexity and musicality of this instrument and making it like it's almost two different cymbals in one - simply magical! Its stick definition is warm and articulate with a musical wash and smooth decay. It's slightly undersized measuring 21-12/16" across and it's perfect medium weight of 2550 grams gives it a bold crash that doesn't wash out the sticking. This very well cared for cymbal has the most minuscule flea bite that you can only really feel with your fingernail, so insignificant we almost missed it upon inspection because it's so subtle. No cracks, bends, or keyhole. This cymbal would be a proud addition to any great cymbal collection or studio. Enjoy!
