This is a new old stock cymbal created by the master in 2007 and acquired directly from Lee Ruff, who had a very close friendship and business relationship with Roberto and introduced Spizzichino cymbals to North America as his only U.S. importer. If you're looking at this listing then you've likely heard talk of the mythical Spizzichino cymbals, and we're excited to share this rare one with you. Roberto Spizzichino was an Italian master cymbal maker and some would argue the most highly regarded cymbalsmith of the modern era. He made very few 24" cymbals during his career so this new old stock cymbal is as much of a beautiful sounding instrument as it is a prized heirloom quality treasure. It is an inspiringly complex cymbal with beautiful overtones and a distinct personality that could only be brought to life by a master like Roberto. It weighs in at a svelte 3073 grams which is quite light for a 24". This Turkish alloy cymbal was made in 2007 and does not bare a foundry stamp. It's accompanied by a hand-signed and notarized letter of authenticity from Lee Ruff as shown in the photos detailing it's authenticity, as well as a hand engraving under the bell done by Lee including his signature, the date, "Spizzichino", and the gram weight.
