This pedal is from the 2010s with the black springs and is in great condition overall with minimal play wear, mostly on the black drive shaft as commonly seen. Comes with two red wood beaters and one Axis Marksman beaters as shown. The A2 is double version of the Axis A series. The drive shaft linkage was specifically designed to maintain the all-ball-bearing action which sets the Axis double pedals apart from anything else in the industry. The universal joints feature a “zero backlash” design which transfers the power from the slave side to the primary side with the maximum transfer of torque, rebound and sensitivity. Enjoy!
