For your extreme viewing pleasure is this exceedingly rare Camco "New Tuxedo Outfit" in Peacock Pearl Sparkle.  The combination of the non-U.S.A. badges, the original bow-tie style T's on the bass drum, the coffin shaped strainer on the snare drum, the wider re-rings in the bass drum, the original style small logo bass drum heads, and the peacock sparkle wrap all point to a very early and historic Camco set, most likely from their first year or two of production (1961-62).  The shells are 4 ply Jasper shells with re-inforcment rings.  The snare and tom have the coveted original chrome-over-brass hoops with rolled edges.  The snare drum has all original tension rods.  The tom has matching un-original tension rods.  The bass has two T's on the bottom batter side that are correct size vintage T rods, but are from a '60s Gretsch Playboy outfit.  All of the other bow-tie T's, and all of the claws are originals and have some rust.

The drums are in overall great condition with flat seams and no damage.  There are no scrapes, scratches or dings to the wrap anywhere that we can see.  The bass drum has an extra hole in the top that is covered by a chrome cupped cover.  The arm for the original strainer on the snare drum is not present, but the snares are in the "on" position, and the drum sounds amazing.  The muffler on the snare drum is not present.  Peacock Sparkle was comprised of silver, aqua, and red confetti flakes, and as is the case with most that surface, the aqua sparkles have faded in most areas, but can be seen where it was shaded from the light by the hoops.

Amazingly, the bass drum still retains both early small logo heads on front and back, and both still sound great.  The top head on the 12" tom is an original Camco logo head, as is the bottom snare side head of the snare drum.  All of the bearing edges are true and original.  Aside from the aforementioned on the bass drum, there are no extra holes or modifications.

This rare early outfit tunes up wonderfully in all ranges, and is a true delight to play.  It is equally ready for the finest of collections, studios, or stages.  Enjoy!
