This 18" scale, super light weight agathis body bass makes it easy to create the round tone of an upright bass. Originally designed by folk musician Al Jones and luthier Nigel Thornbory, Guild created the original Ashbory Bass in the 1987. They were reintroduced by Fender under the De Armond brand. It features a patented transducer and unique silicone rubber strings which make it an exceptional instrument in the recording studio and a treat to play on stage. The gig bag is included. Enjoy!
