For your ultimate and supreme viewing delight is this vintage Camco Aristocrat drum set from the 1960s in absolutely gorgeous White Marine Pearl. This outfit was made in the Oak Lawn, IL factory. While White Marine Pearl was a fairly common wrap for most US companies during the '60s, it was very rare for Camco.
The rare and amazing virgin bass drum was only factory equipped with spurs, no rail mount or cymbal arm bracket. Due to the bass drum being a virgin drum, it was mated with a 9x13 tom with left side diamond plate to be used on a freestanding spade mount tom holder. Most people will prefer to use this in a snare stand or with a RIMS mount. The front bass drum head is the fantastic original logo head. The floor tom has a less commonly seen factory seam where a thin strip of wrap was used underneath to join seam. It is more than evident that this is how the drum left the factory, and looks great.
The hoops are the much sought after first generation C.O.B. tall rolled hoops. The tom legs show signs of aging and are fully functional. The toms do not currently have mufflers. The tension rods on the toms are modern replacements. There are no extra holes or modifications, and the bearing edges are true and original.
This is a phenomenal sounding and looking drum set, it tunes up with the greatest of ease, and sounds unbelievable. It would equally be at home amongst the finest of collections, studios, or stages. Enjoy!
