For your prime consideration is this fabulous vintage Ludwig Club Date set in rarely seen Black & Silver Duco finish. These are much more commonly seen in blue/silver duco. This stunner has the original early 1960s "Club Date Outfit" sizes which came with a 14x22 bass drum, 9x13 tom, and 12x15 floor tom. The drums are all original down to the heads, and all have pre-serial keystone badges and chrome over brass hoops. The toms have white painted interiors, and the bass drum displays a natural mahogany interior as was common during this era of Ludwigs. The upgraded chrome hardware has aged well with minimal signs of age. The floor tom's clipper legs and brackets are in excellent condition and are fully functional. There is a very small hole in the bottom of the bass drum that we are presuming was from a light cord (see last pic). There are otherwise no extra holes or additional modifications. The set presents gorgeously overall, and would be right at home amongst the finest of collections, studios, and stages. Most importantly, it tunes up wonderfully and sounds fantastic.
