For your extreme viewing pleasure is this vintage Gretsch Name Band Transition Era drum set in beautiful Tangerine Sparkle. It has round badges on the tom and bass drum and a stop sign badge on the floor tom, which was not uncommon during this era. This set has been lovingly owned, played and recorded with by a local Chicago pro drummer. The hoops, lugs, rail consolette, diamond bracket, Pratt muffler, and tom mufflers are all original. The spurs were replaced, and the spur bracket thumb screws are Rogers replacement. Some of the floor tom screw holes have some wood missing around them as shown in the last photo. The silver sealer interiors are otherwise in beautiful condition, as are the original paper tags. As is typical for vintage Gretsch drums, they will accept modern heads but the do fit snuggly. Most importantly, they tune up with ease and have that unmistakable "Great Gretsch Sound". It's not every day a Tangerine Sparkle kit is available in this great of condition, so seize the moment!
