For your kind consideration is this vintage 1960s Gretsch 16"x16" floor tom in faded Champagne Sparkle. This 6 ply drum is in overall great condition. The chrome shows beautifully and the original die cast hoops look great. It's all original aside from the heads with both mufflers still present and functional. The wrap is in great condition. The seam lays down, but like most Gretsch shells of this era there is some typical lift just beside it that is stable. The edges are true and original and beeswax was applied by previous owner for superior head seating and tuning. There are no extra holes or modifications. Both mufflers are present and fully functional. There floor tom legs show tightening wear and are fully functional. The silver sealer finished interior never had a paper tag, which was correct for early 6 ply drums such as this. It tunes up easily and has that quintessential "Great Gretsch Sound". Enjoy!
