For your viewing pleasure is this 1960s Gretsch 14x22 6-ply shell bass drum in Red Glass Glitter Sparkle. The drum is in excellent player's condition. It has five extra holes where an MIJ tom mount was previously added. The holes can be filled and if a rail mount was added, would help cover them and perhaps even use one of the existing ones. The wrap seam has been secured down as shown in the detailed photos. Aside from the heads, this drum is all original down to the paper tag, round badge, lugs, T's and claws, Pratt muffler, hoops, and silver sealer paint.The bearing edges are true and original, and modern heads fit well. It tunes up easily and has that quintessential "Great Gretsch Sound". Enjoy!
