The only difference between this and a "new" one is that it doesn't ship in a Gretsch box. This beauty offers a crisp, powerful attack that always manages to find its own space in the overall mix. The 1.2mm thick brass shell has 45 degree bearing edges with the chrome plating accentuating the high end of the drum giving it a very controlled snap. The classy style 301 single flanged 3mm thick hoops with 2mm thick clips give it a gorgeous vintage vibe along with the classic Snap-In key holder and 42-Strand snare wires for added response.
