Kalamazoo Series drums are metal shelled drums, handmade in our shop in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The shells are hand rolled and riveted from lightweight .060” (1.5 mm) aluminum brushed and clearcoated to a beautiful finish. These shells are built up using our lightweight and beautifully designed hardware and tunable BR2 suspension brackets and maple hoops. The drums are sensitive, and resonant, with a nice round shell tone prominent in the mix.
