This is an absolutely gorgeous 1920's Leedy bass drum in 14"x28". It has a beautiful original natural walnut finish & is in well preserved condition. Everything about this drum is original including the stunning Leedy Hard White heads that appear to have never been played. The original hoops are gorgeous, the front hoop bares the brass Leedy Indianapolis Indiana badge used when U.G. Leedy still owned the company (before selling the company to Conn in 1929 who then moved Leedy to Elkhart). This drum sounds wonderful; big, warm, pillowy, woody vintage goodness. It would be a perfect bass drum to build a set around for Americana or roots music. Would also look amazing adorning your living room!
