For your kind consideration is this beautiful vintage Ludwig 5x14 No, 908P Jazz Festival snare drum in Blue Sparkle. Aside from heads, this one is 100% original. The original Ludwig wires look and sound great. The original P-83 strainer and white baseball bat muffler are in great shape and both operate smoothly. The Blue Sparkle wrap is in excellent, well cared for condition, and there are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. The keystone badge is nice and tight, with serial number 152XXX dating it to 1965. The red ink stamp is present but smudged and hard to read. The original coveted chrome over brass hoops on top and bottom are in beautiful condition and the lugs shine brightly, and have very minimal signs of age. The bearing edges are true and original, and the drum tunes up easily and sounds magnificent. These snares are a true joy to own and play, and this one would equally be at home amongst the finest of collections, studios, or stages. Enjoy!
