For your prime viewing delight is this vintage Ludwig Super Sensitive 5x14 snare drum from the early 1970s. This aluminum shell drum is all original down to the heads and wires. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. It's in great condition with minimal pin-point pitting and a few light scratches. The original Super Sensitive strainer operates smoothly, as does the tone control. All of the tension rods and washers are original, as well as the hoops. The hoops have a slight amount of pitting. The pointy Blue & Olive cut badge has no serial since the lower portion of the badges from this era needed to be cut to accommodate the center bead and align with the existing vent hole placement. Most importantly, this drum tunes up like a champ and sounds absolutely fantastic. Enjoy!
