For your viewing pleasure is this vintage Ludwig 6.5x14 Universal snare drum. It's in great condition with an internal date stamp of 4104 dating it to April of 1941. The Black/Gold Duco finish is in superb condition with only a few dings and scratches. The drum has its six original nickel plated tube lugs, original clips, nickel hoops, and the 338 short lever strainer which was used on Pioneer and Universal models of this era. There's an older Remo coated Ambassador on top and Ludwig Weather Master on bottom, paired with Pure Sound 16-strand wires. It tunes up wonderfully and sounds fantastic. This snare brings super cool vintage fatback vibes to the table and makes sure nobody leaves hungry. This would be a fantastic addition to any collection or studio. Enjoy!
