For your viewing pleasure is this great example of an early 1970s 5x14 Ludwig Acrolite snare drum. The pointy blue and olive badge is in great condition and is tight. It has a seven digit serial number 1096XXX. It still retains the original tension rods and washers. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. The drum is in overall great cosmetic condition. The P-85 strainers is in great shape & operates smoothly. The top hoop has some oxidation marks that you can see in the pictures. No serious drummer's or studio's snare drum arsenal is complete without a trusty vintage Acrolite, and this one sounds particularly great. Enjoy!
