For your viewing pleasure is this rarely seen 1969 Ludwig Standard snare drum in gorgeous Avocado Strata. This 8 lug drum has the same exact 3 ply shell and construction as a Jazz Fest with the only difference being the badge and lightweight / lower mass lugs, which some attribute to improved resonance and tone. It's in good condition with just a few light marks here and there. The top hoop has some chrome loss and oxidation in one area, and there are a few light bends that do not affect the tuning or sound in any way. There's a couple small shallow bumps on the bottom edge, but it does not affect the integrity, sound, or tuning in any way. The strainer and muffler both work great. The tension rods are all era correct Ludwig rods, but a few of them are not an exact match. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. Most importantly, this drum tunes up wonderfully and sounds fantastic. If you've been looking for one of these, they don't pop up too often, so seize the moment! Enjoy!
