This gorgeous 1970s Ludwig Jazzette outfit in gold sparkle was lovingly restored by the very talented Jim Mortiz of Chicago Drum & Restoration for renown Chicago jazz drummer extraordinaire, George Fludas. The set is a real true blue 70s Jazzette set that has been rewrapped in Ludwig's shade of gold sparkle. When Jim rewrapped the set, he also trued the bearing edges to correct Ludwig spec edges, filled and wrapped over the muffler holes per George's request, and replaced the bent up blue and olive badges with correct reproductions which do not have serial #s (similar to many of the original numberless B&O badges used in the early '70s). The original interior of these maple/poplar 3 ply shells is the gray speckled Ludwicoat. They are a gorgeous site to behold, they tune up insanely well in a great range of tunings, and sound simply amazing. These would be right at home in the nicest of recording studios or on any stage.
