For your viewing pleasure is this excellent example of an early '60s 5"x14" Ludwig Jazz Festival snare drum in stunning blue sparkle. It is in wonderful condition with minimal handling wear. There is a very light scuff located two panels to the right of the strainer that is difficult to capture in pictures. It features a gorgeous pre-serial # Keystone badge, nice chrome-over-brass hoops, small round knob muffler, correct WFL P-83 strainer & butt & earlier heavy bow-tie lugs. All tension rods and washers are original. The chrome is in great condition with little to no pitting. This drum still has the original Ludwig Weather Master head on the bottom and original snare wires. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. It displays wonderfully and would be equally at home among the finest of collections, studios, or stages. It tunes up like a champ and is pure sonic bliss to play! Enjoy!
*Shipping: Our new website platform is not always able to calculate accurate shipping rates. We ship the grand majority of our domestic items via UPS. The shipping rate shown may reflect accurate pricing in some cases. In rare instances, including drum sets that need to ship in multiple boxes, items that are shipping out of the country, and items that may require substantial insurance, the shipping may be more or less than the shipping price reflected during your checkout. If the shipping price seems like it is not accurate, please let us know so we can get an exact shipping quote for you. In instances where the item is paid for and the shipping cost ends up being more than paid, we will need to settle on the difference prior to shipping. In instances where the shipping ends up being less than charged at time of check out, we will happily refund you the difference.
