For your viewing pleasure is this great sounding 1920s 4x14 "Dance Model" size Ludwig Universal / Pioneer 6 lug snare drum made with the same coveted heavy 2 piece brass shell and welded back edges that the black beauties and Professional models in the 1920s were made with. It is in very good overall condition for a drum that is about a century old. All of the tension rods and clips are original, as are the hoops. The top hoop is stamped with the "Ludwig & Ludwig Chicago" stamp. The shell is in round, with just one small ding above the butt. The original No. 338 Pat. Pending strainer works smoothly. Really nice Ludwig 12 strand wires. The drum tunes up easily and sounds excellent! Enjoy the legendary sound of a Ludwig heavy 2 piece shell at a fraction of the price!
