For your viewing pleasure is this beautiful Ludwig Standard snare drum in gorgeous Blue Strata. This 8 lug drum has the same exact 3 ply shell and construction as a Jazz Fest. The only difference is the badge and lightweight / lower mass lugs, which some attribute to better resonance and tone. It's in well cared for condition with no splits or cracks. Badge has four digit serial # 57XX. It has a Remo top head and the original Weather Master bottom head. There is a little oxidation in the center flange of the bottom hoop and on the strainer The 1st gen. P-85 strainer and muffler both operate smoothly. There are no extra holes. Most importantly, this drum tunes up wonderfully and sounds fantastic. Enjoy!
