For your viewing pleasure is this excellent 1963 pre-serial # keystone era Ludwig Supraphonic in 6.5x14. It's in great condition and displays much less pitting/flaking than typically found on these Ludalloy (aluminum) Supras. The only panels that really display this are the panel that shares the butt plate, & the panel to the left of the butt plate. Being from 1963, this drum displays the red felt base ball bat muffler, and original sought after chrome-over-brass hoops. This drum also retains the original Ludwig wires, which still sound . The heads are replacement Ludwig Weather Masters. As is common with these Supras, especially the 6.5" size, heads fit a bit snug, but it tunes up wonderfully and sounds great!
