Pearl 14" Vari-Pitch Roto Tom

For your kind consideration is this Pearl 14" Vari-Pitch tom. It's in good condition overall with some cosmetic wear to the black finish. Tunes up well and is ready to some variable pitch goodness to your setup.

The Vari-Pitch drums only appeared in the 1981 Pearl catalog. Nearly identical to the Remo RotoToms that were popular at that time, Pearl made their own. Then they took it one step further along with Randy May (think May internal drum microphones) and added their Vari-Pitch drums to drum shells creating Vari-Pitch cannons. The 80's were wild times. While we don't have one of those cannon shells, you can get yourself a little piece of history with this Vari-Pitch tom today. Enjoy!
