The collets are the correct original machined versions, one of which has one of the ears missing, but is still fully functional. The Sparkling Red Pearl looks great and is in good condition with flat seams. 5 of the 16 bread and butter lugs have the commonly seen stress cracks, but since the bass drum doesn't typically get tuned up very high, it is very playable as is, so no real need to repair or replace them. The bearing edges are true and original, and the drum tunes up with great ease and sounds glorious.
