For your viewing pleasure is a rare Slingerland 16x18 floor tom built with Slingerland's legendary 3-ply mahogany interior shell, and wrapped in their iconic Capri Pearl. The opal flakes used in the wrap are iridescent and give off hints of pink, purple and green. This drum dates to DEC 4 1958. One small piece of wrap missing, most of which is under the hoop. The legs are mismatched, some are correct. The hoops have a cosmetic bend in the top flange, which does not affect the tuning in any way. It tunes up wonderfully and sounds amazing. If you've been looking for an 18" Capri Pearl, you may be waiting for quite a while before another becomes available. Enjoy!
