For your viewing pleasure is this 1936-42 era Slingerland Radio King 16x16 floor tom in gold sparkle. This gorgeous drum is 100% original with no modifications, appears to have never been used or played, and has always been stored in a hard case. It has the original calf heads which have no marks from being hit. All things indicate that the heads were taken off for the first time by us for the pictures taken for this listing. The edges are original and true, and the gold sparkle wrap is in wonderfully preserved condition with no damage of any kind. The mufflers are fully functional. This drum was built prior to Slingerland implementing floor tom leg brackets, and was intended for use with a cradle which did not come with the drum when we received it. This drum tunes up well and sounds as magnificent as it looks. Enjoy!
