This is a beautiful 1960’s 5”x14” Slingerland snare drum in Black Diamond Pearl. It is a six lug with snare. It has been upgraded with a Zoomatic throw off, which was installed in place of the original Rapid Strainer. This required the addition of an extra hole. The Zoomatic throw off has an engraving on it that can be seen in the picture. The small hole above the throw off (see last picture for close up) is from where the original Rapid Strainer was installed. The shell is a three ply with true and original bearing edges. All other parts are original including the gleaming chrome over brass stick–saver hoops. The Zoomatic throw-off / strainer looks great and functions smoothly, as does the tone-control / muffler. The gorgeous black and brass Niles badge is nice and tight. Most importantly, this drum tunes up wonderfully and is a joy to play. Enjoy!
