Beautiful Slingerland 6 lug snare drum from 1970. Transitional chocolate milk interior shell from the '60s that was put together in 1970 as evidenced by the low serial # (35XXX) black & silver badge that had just been introduced in 1970. This drum is completely original with exception of the Remo Coated Ambassador head on the top. It features Slingerland's 3 ply shell, Rapid strainer, chrome-over brass stick-saver hoops, tone control, and gorgeous white marine pearl wrap. Original Slingerland resonant snare head, original tension rods/washers, and original Snappy wires are all present. This snare is in loverly shape with only light signs of handling/play wear. It tunes up wonderfully and provides a big fat back beat.
