For your extreme viewing pleasure is this rare NOS (New Old Stock) Sonor Light Designer Series drum set in highly figured Birdseye Maple from 2006. It's in immaculate condition with original boxes and displays like a beauty queen (inquire about saving on shipping if you don't mind the drums being nested in non-original boxes). All original aside from changed top heads on three of the toms. This set was purchased new, taken out of the boxes, and the original top heads of the 10", 12", and 14" toms were removed and replaced with new Remo coated ambassadors back in 2006, (just the 3 coated Remo heads show tap marks from tuning), and then all put back in the original boxes never to be played again until now - a true time capsule piece. All of the other heads (including the bottoms of the 10/12/14 toms) are original. The bass drum, snare, and 16" tom have never been played. Very rare to find a set this clean with this number of drums. This was Sonor's very top of the line, cream of the crop set in 2006, and was replaced by the SQ2 which is their current top of the line. A new SQ2 in this configuration with exotic wood with snare drum would be somewhere in the $9k range. This set would be right at home amongst the very finest of collections, studios, or stages.
