For your extreme viewing pleasure is this exemplary display of 1980s Sonor drums in the form of their top of the line Sonor Phonic Plus outfit in Red Mahogany. These were built with the legendary Sonor 9 ply beach shells with 45 degree edges. This set is one of the nicest Phonic Plus examples you'll ever find, and just like the one Phil Rudd played with AC/DC in the 1980s. It was extremely well cared for and shows very few signs of age. Aside from a few very light incidental surface marks, the only other thing we were able to see is a small area approximately the size of a penny on the top of the bass drum behind the tom bracket that's a slightly lighter shade of mahogany, and is not very noticeable unless you're looking for it. This is without a doubt the very cleanest example of this finish we've ever seen. The hardware, along with the seamless ferro-manganese steel hoops is all in fantastic condition. All of the drums are original with no extra holes or modifications of any kind. Most importantly, it sounds incredible, like no other set you've ever played or heard. Unbelievable tone, resonance, volume, and articulation in any tuning range. Simply amazing! If you've been looking for this set, seize the moment because you'd be extremely hard pressed to ever find a finer example.
