For your kind consideration is this vintage Brazilian-style double ganzá shaker. The ganzá is a metal shaker and a staple of Brazilian samba, where its crisp, driving pulse locks in the groove of the bateria. This double version joins two 18.5" tin-plated steel tubes with three folded metal straps, giving it a fuller, louder sound than a single-tube ganzá along with a comfortable two-handed grip. Each tube features rolled ribbing at both ends, crimped flat end caps, and small vent holes, and produces a bright, cutting shake that sits right on top of any ensemble. No maker's markings are present. It is in excellent vintage condition overall, showing light surface wear consistent with age, including some tarnish and a few small spots of surface rust. Sounds great. Enjoy!
