For your viewing pleasure is this great example of a very early and rare 4 digit serial # 5x14 Ludwig Acrolite from late '63 - early '64 with red felt baseball bat muffler. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind, and it's in overall wonderful cosmetic condition. The early 4 digit keystone badge has a great honest patina which looks very cool, and is nice and tight. It still retains the original tension rods/washers, wires, and Weather Master heads. There are a few very light scratches here and there, but it is in overall lovely condition. The hoops and overall chrome is in amazing condition with little-to-no micro-pin-point pitting. No serious drummer's or studio's snare drum arsenal is complete without a trusty vintage Acrolite, and this one sounds particularly great. Enjoy!
