For your viewing pleasure is this vintage orchestral steel ribbed triangle. These rare instruments don't come up very often, and this one sounds beautiful. It measures 8 inches on each side. There's some aging to the steel finish, but overall this instrument is in excellent shape.
One side of the triangle is ribbed, which when swiped produces a lovely metallic shimmer. There is a hole at the top for the hanger string, this reduces the vibration dampening caused by the string. This feature leads us to believe it may be an Alan Abel triangle, but there are no maker marks. This would be a great addition to any vintage drum collection. No striker included.
