For your viewing pleasure is this extremely clean 1970s 5"X14" Ludwig Superphonic snare drum. It is 100% original including the heads, wires, tension rods, and washers. It is date stamped April 23 1971 (the day that the Rolling Stones released Sticky Fingers in the UK). Most of these '60s and '70s Supras show considerable pitting and flaking. This drum is completely free from pitting and flaking with exception of a couple very tiny pits in the center flange of the top hoop, which are only noticeable under close scrutiny. There are no scratches or cosmetic damage of any kind. It presents itself extremely well, and is in exceptionally nice, near-mint condition (most would be calling this drum mint, but we use that word more carefully than some). No serious drummer's or studio's snare drum arsenal is complete without a trusty vintage Supraphonic, and they don't come much nicer than this. Enjoy!
