For your viewing pleasure is this excellent 1969 Gretsch 5x14 chrome over brass model 4160 round badge snare drum in excellent shape. Being a 1969, it sports an original first generation Lightening throw-off, which functions perfectly. The chrome on the shell is beautiful, with minimal wear. 100% original including the wires and tension rods. The wires have a missing strand and some light rust, but still sound great. There is a bit of chrome missing on the top hoop. The bottom head/hoop goes on snug, but it fits Remo heads and tunes up easily. The tone control / muffler is fully functional. This drum tunes up wonderfully, and sound amazing!
