For your viewing pleasure is this gorgeous 14" Zildjian K Istanbul cymbal. This rare master piece dates from the 1940-1945 period. It exhibits exquisite hand hammering including extensive bell hammering, just marvelous to look at. This is one of the scarcely seen Turkish Gretsch K's identified by a small "G" stamped close to the edge. The hand signed signature is still visible under the bell. This artisan cymbal has survived remarkably well over the better part of the last century, and has befriended a beautiful patina. The original small hole is perfect, and there are no cracks. There is a small rough area on the edge with a few very tiny flea bites, and a shallow edge bend which may have just been from factory hammering close to the edge. This would be wonderful matched up with another cymbal as a hi-hat, or as a great stand alone cymbal. Enjoy!
