For your viewing pleasure is this vintage 1960s Ludwig Downbeat 14x14 floor tom in gorgeous Red Sparkle. The drum dates to 1969 and has the original natural maple interior and original tone control with correct round knob. This floor tom is in great condition and displays beautifully. Up close, you can see some normal light signs of age and buffing marks where the previous owner tried cleaning up this set. Aside from the heads, it's all original. There are no extra holes or modifications and the bearing edges are true and original. Most importantly, it tunes up with the greatest of ease and sounds fantastic. Serial #748XXX Enjoy!
