For your viewing pleasure is this beautiful early vintage Ludwig No. 301 bass drum pedal. This was featured in the 1923 catalog as the Improved Original Ludwig Pedal. The footboard design had been upgraded from the original making it longer and centering the hinge under the player's heel, attached to the new metal plate that was added for strength. Pedal designs were changing quickly during the 20s and this version didn't last long before Ludwig changed it again just a couple years later. This all original Chicago-made pedal is in great condition for being over a century old. Includes the original beater and cymbal striker and is still fully functional. This is ready to be a showpiece in the finest of vintage collections. Enjoy!
