For your supreme viewing pleasure is this amazingly gorgeous 1967 Ludwig Super Classic outfit in majestic Sky Blue Pearl finish. This incredible closet classic beauty is 100% original in every way, including the Ludwig Weather Master heads which all still tune up and sound magnificent. We have had MANY vintage Ludwig sets over the years, and this is without a doubt one of cleanest and nicest of them. Aside from one minuscule surface scratch on the 13" tom and a couple (almost invisible) ultra fine surface scratches in the floor tom that can hardly be seen, the set is near mint condition, a term we almost never use. These three ultra fine scratches are so insignificant, they would not even be mentioned (or noticed) by most. There are some marks on the inside of the bass shell where some tape residue was cleaned off. The chrome is all excellent. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. All three shells are date stamped: May 2 1967, May 4 1967, and May 5 1967. This set would EASILY be at home amongst the very nicest of collections, studios, or stages. Most importantly, they tune up with the greatest of ease, and sound like the best set of Super Classics you've ever heard. Enjoy!
