For your viewing pleasure is this 1960’s 5.5”x14” Slingerland Artist snare drum in white marine pearl. The shell is 3 ply with true and original bearing edges and chocolate milk interior. The original Zoomatic throw-off / strainer looks great & functions smoothly as does the tone-control / muffler. The gorgeous black & brass Niles badge is nice and tight (serial #180XXX). There are some lighter areas of the wrap on three of the panels where diamond shaped decorations were adhered to apparently give it the look of an older "full dress" style snare drum, thus leaving those 3 diamond shaped areas less yellowed by time. A few of the tension rods look slightly different, but are all era correct and function perfectly. The lugs and original chrome over brass stick-saver hoops have great chrome. Most importantly, this drum tunes up like a champ and sounds great. Enjoy!
