For your viewing pleasure is this vintage Sonor 5x14 D444 Teardrop Ferro-Manganese Steel 8 lug snare drum from the 1960s. It's in fantastic condition with minimal wear for its age.
The original strainer circular metal strainer was recently replaced with a very easy to use Ludwig strainer, this leaves 3 holes in the shell by the strainer as shown in the pictures. Aside from that, the drum is all original except for the heads and wires. Beautiful, loud snare with plenty of sensitivity on tap. Enjoy!
