For your prime consideration is this magnificent 6.5x14 Sonor D506 snare drum from the 1980s. It is in beautiful condition, and has been very well cared for its entire life. Aside from the heads, it is completely original (the Sonor wires sound great but are missing two strands). There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. The chrome is gleaming and beautiful, a true sight to behold. The ferro-manganese shell is in lovely condition. The strainer and adjustable butt plate both operate smoothly. This is a tremendous snare drum that exhibits the finest in engineering and craftsmanship, something Sonor has earned worldwide fame for. It tunes up very easily, and sounds incredible in all tuning ranges. It speaks with tremendous authority, yet retains incredible sensitivity. Enjoy!
