For your extreme viewing pleasure is this one of a kind, vintage Tama 4.5x15 Imperialstar snare drum made in Japan for STARZ drummer and Tama endorser Joe X. Dube in 1977. He had asked for a big, fat piccolo with the bigger frequency response of the 15" shell and the crack of a 4" depth. The factory delivered on his request, they customized the bottom hoop by cutting out the area for the wires since there wasn't a 15" snare side hoop available at the time. It's in great overall condition with minimal signs of age as it mostly lived in storage. There are some imperfections in two panels of the exterior (see pics). The KG parallel action strainer operates well with the original wires. The One Touch tone control is present, fully functional, and a great example of this innovative design. There are no extra holes or modifications. Comes with autographed head and picture. If you're a Tama fan, this is as rare and unique as it gets and would be an amazing addition to your collection that you won't want to snooze on. Enjoy!
