The included snare wires were selected by Steve, and enable a crisper, more staccato tone. Also included, is the heavy-duty Yamaha Q-type strainer, which offers smooth, stable operation, and easy adjustment and snare replacement. This snare drum rips, and is ready out of the box for the recording studio or stage. Enjoy!
